Got it with low sugar. Sadly this was quite the disappointment. The matcha was extremely thin and it merely tasted of the milk with a very weak matcha taste.
Got this with 50% sugar. If I could describe it in two words, it would be liquid cheesecake! It was extremely pleasant; the warm pearls that do not overdilute the drink, the tasty, slightly salty cheese cap and the strong milk tea!
My only regret was getting the 50% sugar. It was a tad too sweet. I would get 25% or 0% next time! Other than that this was a really enjoyable drink :)
Handmade Noodles by former Crystal Jade Chef.
Very fresh and delicious; beef was tender, soup was light yet flavorful and the free flow of chili oil helped me to elevate this dish with a spick kick! Would definitely get this again!
Stack burger; Single beef patty with portobello, with chicken rice buns for $7.5 from The Humble Burger.
Ordered this with fried chicken rice patty; its like, chicken rice smashed into a patty then fried in panko breadcrumbs. Rice patties were a lil too dense for my liking and I honestly would've preferred normal burger buns. However the beef and mushroom were really good; fresh, nicely seared patty and seared portobello. Could taste the light char!! It also came with a slice of American cheese, caramelized onions, lettuce and tomato. Had this with a Teh O Bing from JinHoLim at $2.0
Pasta with high quality streaky bacon, shimeji, spinach, tomatoes tossed in butter shoyu. One of the best pastas I had in Singapore! Highly recommended 👍🏼
Actually pretty cheap for such high quality of matcha! Really smooth and I could taste the leafy green tea taste. It was rich and creamy and this is definitely my new matcha go-to place in Singapore!
For a Michellin star ramen, I think this is actually not that pricey. It was really well executed with every component done perfectly and the fresh truffle paste giving a strong fragrance to the whole dish. Would highly recommend!
Loved how truffle paste was used instead of truffle oil. A very pleasant fusion dish and I would definitely come back here for more!
Got this with low sugar level.
Was glad to see that they used fresh strawberries. When they poured the cheese foam in the blended strawberry and tea, it mixed in, creating a pinkish cheese foam and it tasted like a strawberry infused cheese foam! Texture wise, it REALLY is pulpy, although that's not a problem as all the straberry bits could go through the straw. Overall, a slightly pricey but a very fresh and delicious drink!
Indeed very cheesy! You could pull the "cheese string" when you bite into this. It was defintely a pleasant snack that I could walk while on the way to work. :)
Had a "xiao la" (less spicy) mala xiang guo with pork, lotus, , tofu skin, romaines and king oyster mushrooms for $11.00. Also got 2 bowls of rice for $0.50 each.
This was very pleasant! They were extremely generous with their portions, so my partner and I were definitely full after the bowl. The "wok hei" could be tasted. Everything was well assembled, stir-fried to perfection with a really nice amount of chili oil coating the dish giving it the oomph without being too greast. Also, the lotus were notably extra crunchy!
Definitely would recommend 👍🏼
Large sized 913 King's Oolong Tea Latte ( $4.90 ) + Pearls ( $0.60 )
I got the 30% sugar and less ice option. The tea was undeniably fresh although it did taste diluted with the fresh milk added. The pearls were also really chewy, almost too chewy so my mouth did get a little tired. Couldn't finish the pearls.
