Afternoon tea set with free flow alcohol ($88)

Pretty worth it if you drink. Food wise I still prefer high tea at regent hotel.

Everything was decent but there’s no wow factor. Not sure if I will be back again.

The food is nice, however the portion is small and there’s no cooked food in the $128 Omakase. We had to order an extra beef dish to share.

Manager there was super friendly. They have a booth seat for 4 at the side of the restaurant which is nicer than the other table available.

All round hit. Swiss fine dining in a beautiful setting.

Rosti with chicken ragout
Pork medallion with morel cream sauce
Chicken Cordon Bleu
Meringues with gruyere double cream and berry sauce
Blueberry tart

Every item is delicious with the pork medallion and meringues as stand out

Total bill for two with 4 glasses of wine came up to $224. Pretty good pricing for fine food and setting I would say.

Wonderful view on top of ION Orchard. This place specialises in Argentinian steaks.

We ordered the 1kg OP rib ($210) to share among 4 girls. Which is more than enough if you also ordered starters.

Taste of the steak itself wasn’t bad but also not spectacular either. There are better steaks around. Come for the view and ambience.

Other dishes from the dinner Omakase. What a treat.

Abalone was steamed to perfection in sake and with its liver sauce as a side dip. Luxurious.

These are the sushi courses from the dinner omakase. Oishi des!!!!

Incredibly hard to book yakitori joint. There’s only counter seats so not that conducive for bigger groups unless you book the entire place šŸ˜† (didn’t really count but think there’s like 12 seats)

I like their oyako don, egg is done perfectly runny. Their chicken soup is a good order to start before their sticks of well grilled arrived.

Lunch Omakase consisting of the following:

Yuba and Uni
Fish cake with bamboo shoots and shiso
3 seasonal sashimi
- Ika with powdered sea salt flakes
- Aburi snapper
- Chutoro and otoro
Monaka, Foie gras ice cream with orange/crisp rice wafer
Palette cleanser of wasabi ice cream with tomato and cauliflower emulsion
Grilled fish with sweet potato and asparagus
(Added $30 for Wagyu beef instead)
Baked rice with sakura shrimps/miso soup
Japanese Strawberry with radish and ice cream
Sakura financier

It’s a relatively nice meal but I still prefer a sushi focused Omakase.

Big fresh succulent prawns tossed in a savoury slightly spicy kung bao sauce. One of the better dish on the table.

Popular among the working crowd here in MBFC

Order this as an appetiser, you can order it as a main which will come with fries too at a bigger portion ($34)

One of the best tartare I’ve had in Singapore. The atmosphere of the place is lively, there’s even a pretty al fresco area available for dining.
