This is the 咸水角 that’s shaped into a cute carrot.

Majority of the dim sum here is priced between $6-$7.50 for 3-4 pieces. All items were decent without any shoutout pieces.

Service was nice and friendly.

My favourite dim sum place in this mall was Teochew paradise which has been replaced by seafood paradise recently. The search for better dim sum venue continues.

Ordered this bowl of pork rib snd prawn noodle soup through WhyQ and it’s still warm upon arrival.

Soup is packed separately and I do like the flavour of the soup. Overall an enjoyable bowl of prawn mee.

For those who love their eggs on sourdough toast. Husband rated this as his favourite eggs ben and it didn’t hurt that they were very generous with their salmon too!

I came back for their mussels and they were still as fresh and sweet 😋

These were the starters from the dinner set menu.

Lobster Kueh Pie Tee
Lamb satay (they changed it to pork if you don’t take lamb)
Roti Jala with chicken curry
Coconut shrimp

Everything came perfectly portioned for a small group of eaters. Our favourites were the roti jala and satay.

This is the classic roll ($29), we added $5 for it to come with a side salad and fries.

There were a lot of fresh, succulent lobster flesh sandwiched between the buttery crispy roll. Best eaten with hands 🙌

Best soup flavour in Ippudo, pork broth blended with a sweet and spicy minced meat miso paste. However, it does get a tad salty when you’re halfway through it.

Every now and then you come across a restaurant that you really like and you struggled to leave a review - fearing that it gets even harder to get a reservation? Kyoten is one of such restaurants imo.

Their lunch Omakase is really worth it. Especially love their sushi. It comes with generous uni, chutoro and otoro sushi.

I ordered this with high expectations, as I’ve read plenty of good reviews. Unfortunately it is not one of the best ramen that I’ve had.

Current favourite is still Nantsuttei for a good tonkotsu ramen.

素缘,mentioned in my previous post that I will be back to try their curry gravy instead and true enough it is very tasty as well. Now I’m spoilt for choice the next time I’m here. Gravy or Curry?

This is kolo mee. Good choice if around the vicinity since there’s a wide selections of other dishes to go along with if one likes variety.
