Among the mains, the Tiger Prawns in olive oil with toasted baguette (S$16.50++), Honey Glazed Chicken (S$22.50++) and Crispy Soft Shell Crab Salad with shredded crab meat (S$19.50++) took my heart away! ā™„ļø Swipe to see šŸ‘‰

You sip a prosecco and chat merrily with your friends while the chef prepares your dinner at the BBQ pit.

Soon the startersĀ are served andĀ one of them is Uni & Ikura Crostini! As you relish the fresh and creamy sea urchin, the chef sets the BBQ pit ablazeĀ and starts grilling the meats and seafood...

Seoul Good is a self service container eatery that serves affordable Korean food. They have a modest range of starters (Korean Rice Cakes/Bulgogi Fries/Korean Chicken), Mains (Rice bowls/Spaghetti) and Desserts (Bingsu/Churros).
.
Featured: Chicken- Spicy, Special Sauce (S$7.90 Nett), Kimchi Chicken Spaghetti (S$11.90 Nett), Spicy Bulgogi Beef Rice, Myeongdong Chicken Balls with Rice (S$9.90 Nett)
.
Personally, I like the Kimchi Chicken Spaghetti. I will describe it as the Korean's take on mee goreng- spicy, flavorful with lots of kimchi and chicken dice. The only thing lacking is a fried egg. The sides of chicken are not bad too. Other mains did not find favour with me though.

But a recent food trail at SBG proved me wrong. They are classy but not necessarily expensive. Other than Food Canopy (food court), we also have Casa Verde which serves both Italian and local food at affordable NETT prices.
.
If you are planning to visit the SBG Heritage Festival that is starting tomorrow (30 June to 9 July 2017), do drop by for Casa Verde's Heritage Set (S$19.50 Nett). The set includes Prawn Noodle Soup/Seafood Char Kway Teow + Iced Jelly + Coffee/Soft Drink. Swipe to see more! šŸ‘‰

In the sea of international buffets, it is refreshing to see one that focuses on local food. The variety is huge and includes crabs, lobsters, tiger prawns, mussels, salt baked whole fish, roast meats, Indian dishes, Peranakan dishes, local dishes, local desserts, cakes and ice cream (lemongrass/gula melaka)!
.
Taste wise, I feel that there are hits and misses and favours are generally on the stronger side. The most memorable dishes for me are their Seafood, Satay, Salt Baked Whole Fish, Cod Congee and Orh Luak! šŸ˜‹

The premium Spanish Iberico pork is perfectly char grilled such that the pork is still pinkish and oh-so-tender! The secret recipe char siew sauce is also awesome, one that is more savoury than sweet. Even the sidekicks of carrot noodles and carrot puree are unforgettable! For meĀ this is a perfect dish that I'll willingly pay S$34++ for!
.
Good things don't last forever though. This dish is only available from 30 June 2017 toĀ 9 July 2017 in conjunction with the annualĀ Singapore Botanic Gardens Heritage Festival. During this period, you can also enjoy Botanico's Tropical Fruit Dessert (laksa leaf ice cream + jackfruit) and Tumeric Twist Cocktail at a slight discount. Swipe to see more! šŸ‘‰
