Happen to work around the area and spotted this place. After my first try on it, i had been eating it ever since. Kudos
This shop has been here for more than 15 years! Ate the noodles since young. Their secret recipe to their chicken feet gravy in the noodles...Yummy! Guess what. They opens at 5.30am but closes at 12pm. I wonder why such odd timings though.
Damage for this @$33.90. Very power and lotsof varieties compare to other bak kut teh. Good service. The soup is not "A1" soup. Can taste that it is their own herbal recipe.upss
My first encounter with herbal style bak kut teh was at Soon Huat BKT in bedok simpang, and it was unforgettably delicious. New Soon Huat is a different brand but their menu is almost identical. The soup here has less of the herbal taste, but still good enough that we asked for a refill twice. I especially love the tau kee and enoki mushrooms in it. The pork ribs were acceptably tender enough too, but the same can't be said for the ones in the dry version, which gave me a hard time chewing I decided to give up eating it.
So much to do yet no motivation to push on! 💪 All the best to those working hard!
