Priced at $20, this delicious starter leaves you craving for more after the first bite. Gorgeous.

Typically served as a round, enclosed puff, but looks like this orgasmic mess when quartered. Oh me oh my, look at all dat cheeeeeeeezzzeeee.

Deep-fried potato. Toothsome pulled pork. Melted mozzarella. Do I really need to explain why I will be back for more?

Just like many other cafés, Revelry outsources their cakes; this one is from online bakery Cat And The Fiddle. Milo powder tops the cheesecake layer, which tasted and felt similar to Milo Dinosaur. Beneath that is the cheesecake layer; light and had a consistency similar to mousse. Dab some whipping cream on the cake and it's as though you are having Iced Milo; pretty interesting!

Enuff said. The chocolate sauce, the aromatic chocolate cake and that vanilla ice cream, and a hot day = awesomely perfect. Though I'm not a choc lover, this went straight into my list of fav dessert now. Too good to be true, too good to be true.

This place was first discovered by one of the Burpple tastemakers. What a gem this is, affordable quality Japanese dining with a great view to shout for. Quality bara chirashi set for just $18.80. What's best, because of the pretty obscure location, you can get a table pretty easily. Maybe not after this post! ;)

This is one helluva piece of sinful yet delightful sushi. Don't judge it based on its appearance - once you sink those teeth of yours into its juicy meat, you'll probably be ordering another portion real soon. Even if it's $4 a piece ;)

When you step into this cafe, you can't help noticing the industrial looking decor and its colourful hipster looking ornaments. The toast I had was ordinary, nothing out of the box. On retrospect, I would have ordered a hot beverage instead of my iced hazelnut latte. Overall, I like the ambience and the fact that it's so damn close to home! Would head back to try their desserts though! Saw some goodlookin' waffles and churros around ;)

The Valrhona Chocolate Lava Cake is probably one of my favourite indulgence of all times. I wished I took a video when I dug into that piece of heaven - how all the gooey goodness exploded and blended so wonderfully with the pieces of banana slices and vanilla ice cream. Can't wait to go back for this again!

This handmade tagliatelle pasta tasted strangely like a bowl of meepok, only with a much heftier price tag. The amount of olive oil and garlic used were generous, but left a strange aftertaste that stayed in your mouth for a couple of hours. The prawns were fairly succulent, but nothing much worth remembering.
