Surprisingly good and refreshing! $27++ but the portion kinda small; thou itβs a good dish to try if you are eating at this place :)
Orh nee cake ($8++), taste okay. A bit overrated and probably can dine in for the ambience & decor of the cafe.
Food was okay but service was quite meh. Maybe because we got there when we are about to leave but still :β)
In any case, probably wonβt come back again unless Iβm around the area.

If you ever get tired of the Chinatown soya sauce chicken (but really?), or you just don't want to queue, here's a hidden gem β a giant platter of duck meat, pig skin, pig intestines, gizzard, tau kwa, cucumber, all soaked in that soya sauce goodness. For $15!! Good for 4 (unless you inhale meat like me), and you should have it with their porridge too.
From Run Ji Cooked Food #02-140. Took a photo of their stall for ref and the aunty queuing excitedly told us to try it because it's very nice. Gave her a knowing and satisfied smile π
The scallop is "to-kill-for", and bentos comes at affordable prices. Have a get-together with 3 other friends and eat to your fill with less than $30 per person.
DIY to create your perfect sushi! We chose salmon, mushroom, cheddar cheese, tuna and bacon for a combination which turns out to be a great delight. For $12, you get a 9-piece fried sushi roll with a drink. Pretty worth it for a quick fix near town!
Need I say more? The rockstar rolls which got our hearts had a great filling of cheese that oozed out from the sushi. Furthermore, Tuesdays sees 50% all sushi, sashimi and house pours! Head down early to avoid disappointment because seats fills up fast.
The curry isn't that hot, but the portion sure is. If you and your friends are big eaters but is cash-tight, order one these humongous curry to share! My favorite is their seafood curry which includes tempura, yum-yum. A meal goes under $20 and if you are sharing, it might even goes between $10-$15 each!
π»π»π» Too salty for my liking though
