$23.90. Quite filling. 1 for 1 with a half pork knuckle and grilled chicken
My brother and I at Smoobar at 8:10pm and ordered 2 pizzas (Smoked Duck Ham, Popcorn Chicken), intending to use the Burpple Beyond.
The waitress told us that we needed to download the eatsy app to see the menu, which was frankly ridiculous. But she eventually gave us the paper menu. After spending some time ordering, we waited for our pizzas for more than half an hour.
Eventually the pizzas came but the cheese and ham failed to stick on the crust.
There were no plates and serviettes provided.
It was a most unpleasant dining experience.
Makes a good breakfast although it comes at a price. Ordered Beef Teriyaki and Chicken Ham. Beef Teriyaki comes with an egg yolk so it can get a little messy.
Use Burpple Beyond ‘1 for 1’
Beef Teriyaki $6.90
Chicken Ham $5.50
Ordered the Spam Fries, Three Pigs burger + Bacon & Jam burger
Patties were soft and easy to eat
Don’t miss the spam fries for appetizers
Should use Burpple Beyond for rice/quinoa bowls or burgers
Space is quite big and could be good for group gatherings
An elevated version of the humble wanton noodles after a late night run. We (group of 4) had:
1) Seng’s Chili Fried Dumpling
2) XO Sauce Fried Dumpling
3) Roasted Pork Belly
4) Char Siew
Use yr Burpple Beyond, 1 for 1 discount
Portions good for 2, so we didn’t really feel too full
$17/ 3 Tacos
Best of the lot
Try the Kimchi Carnitas fries also
Use your Burpple Beyond, 1 for 1 for Tacos (except beef & prawn) + Burritos
Hands down the BEST salted egg dish in town (literally). Located on the top floor of the adolescent-filled Far East Plaza, New Station Bar is joined with other little hawker stalls selling inexpensive hawker fare in the otherwise expensive district 10. Home to many other zichar dishes, it is these salted egg pork ribs that stand out. On my first visit, I remember seeing every single person/group having a serving of these, whether it was an individual rice dish or for sharing. I'm not sure what makes this dish work - from the crispy yet fluffy fried pork ribs, to the creamy and runny salted egg sauce, to the curry leaves that glitter the plate - the combination of all these ingredients make for a truly remarkable and affordable dish. I was sold the first time I came and I will continue to be floored whenever I visit this humble yet honest stall.
Heartiness (portion): 4/5
Tastiness (product): 5/5
Worthiness (price): 5/5

While many complain about the lack of creativity at Senmi Sushi, I personally think that it's the quality of ingredients that they put their emphasis on. Ingredients were undoubtedly fresh and possess an attractive force that makes you crave for more. No overflowing mayonnaise or cheese, and for such a quite friendly price tag, this maki is worth coming back for.
