Just beside Courts Toa Payoh, this is their newest outlet. Tried their Brown Sugar Fresh Milk tea. It's currently $3.80 (U.P. $4.30).
Verdict: Super worth every calorie 👌

Tastes as delicious and beautiful as it looks! For a limited time, enjoy Sakura creations from this wonderful patisserie. Pictured is their Sakura Roll ($16.80). If you don't feel like sharing, you can get a slice at $5.50. It is so delicious and fragrant. The fresh cream complements the spongy cake. Worth every calorie 😃

Each cup you order, is freshly brewed/made and do not come from the usual and ubiquitous tea dispensing containers. The staff were friendly 😁 For a while, it did feel that I was transported to Taipei! Until the total amount for payment was in front of me, that is. I ordered 2 drinks (Red Jade cheese Tea and Tie Guan Yin latte) and it came to a total of $9.10.

This joint is one of the many bubble tea joints available in the revved up Northpoint City. (I actually got lost in the never ending maze of food and beverage options in the behemoth mall). Here I tried their "Taro Therapy stirring milk" drink. The bubbles were nondescript. The redeeming factor of this drink I think, would be the real Taro cubes used instead of some pseudo-Taro powder.

I must say I am in love with Taiwanese bubble tea having visited the country 3x in a year. These guys are the real deal! (Except for the price of course, but then again everything seem to be expensive here in good 'ol Singapura). Fresh Milk was used in the Matcha Latte ($4.20, M size). The Honey Pearls (+$0.70) were also freshly made. Overall I enjoyed the drink! I also tried their Cocoa Latte. You can choose the sugar level 🖒

At $6.50 and laden with clams & brothy goodness, this is as close as it gets to homemade! You know how sometimes we leave behind the soups after finishing the contents? I had to drink up every drop even though I was full as it was too good! Pro tip: Come early if you don't want to wait too long in the queue. And, don't forget to add chillis!

The latte, though pricey ($6.80) was definitely one of the best I've had this week. The Yatsura ($8.50) was a decadent cake with top notch ingredients. The size was just right too. Perfect pairing for coffee junkies and chocoholics!

From the people whose "job is to make customers happy", they certainly hit the spot! This matcha gelato was legit. $5 including crunchy cone. Try their latte too, its espresso notes were quite unique!

With the Downtown Line 3 now open, Singapore feels very much smaller. Finally made my way to this hipster place to try what they've got. I went for the Beef stew ($15). They actually use dark chocolate as 1 of the ingredients. Tastewise: the beef were tender, the sauce tasted creamy but IMO was bland and was lacking in perhaps spices or seasoning thus it was quite cloying (jelak) after a few spoonfuls. The good thing it was served piping hot. As for dessert, the Polenta ($9) was kinda a letdown IMO. It reminded me very much of a middle eastern semolina-syrupy cake called "basboussa". The cream was the consolation to me IMO 😁. Anyway, food aside, their coffees were quite impressive.

Was there at lunchtime and the queue was super long. However the wait was bearable as they were quite fast! The fries were ok, just like any normal thick cut potato fries. The chicken teriyaki patty was also ok, a little charred at the sides. The sauce was a little sweet IMO...overall I'd give this 3.5 stars out of 5.

This cafe is situated on the 1st floor of PoMo. The staff were friendly and warm. Get ready to be spoilt for choice with their waffles, cakes & bakes and also of course assorted flavours of ice cream. I ordered the plain waffle and a flat white today. At $7.50 for the set, it was totally worth it. The waffle was very good and the salted butter made it more irresistable! The Flat White was a tad bitter IMO but the latte art looked cute though 🤣
