Slicing into the meat, you will find that it is soft and beautifully pinked. I love that each slice had a nice balance of meat and fats, the only disappointment was that they were too liberal with the salt. I couldn't stomach more than a couple of pieces. Nonetheless, we shared with the chef and they have graciously noted my suggestion. Will definitely come back for more!
One sip of this thick broth, you can tell that this was painstakingly stewed for a long time. Love that the prawns and ribs were huge and fresh! Such a wonderful dinner
Had a go at the Duck Cassoulet. Tucked beneath the thick layer of pancetta cheese was a rich and flavourful tomato sauce with duck slices hidden within. Rare to see duck done in this manner in Singapore cafes
The pulled pork was well marinated with the right mix of sweetness and spiciness. The portion was just about right. It's great you could choose the doneness of your SPRUCE burger. However what tops it off is the great vibes and night tunes from the live band that gives the whole place a cozy feel.
Even though The Primal is quite pricey ($14), every bite was so good, dripping with flavour and gorgeousness. Would love to come back and try other flavours, but do know that you’ve got to be early on the weekends on you might be disappointed!
Was so excited when this bowl of Salmon Poke arrived! $9.90 for a base (soba, mixed red rice, salad, pasta) + 1 main (ranging from salmon poke, mentaiko, grilled unagi, and teriyaki salmon)! Add on of toppings (eg tamago, onsen egg, edamame) is just $0.90!

Really enjoyed the ambience of Rokki Bowls. With the 1-for-1, eating here is really reasonable! My friend and I had 2 smaller bowls, because we wanted to save our stomachs for Matchaya (just 6 minutes walk away!), but the large would have been reasonably priced because of the 1-for-1! You can also get 1-for-1 drinks with their partners in the shop.
I personally don’t fancy truffle that much, so it got a bit overpowering in the Truffle Wagyu Don, but the egg mixed with the sauce was so good and sharing 1/2 the bowl meant I didn’t get sick of the truffle flavour.
The salmon don was fresh and the sauce with the rice was great!
Would recommend to come here in a smaller group and also have an early dinner (it got more crowded at around 7pm)!
