Too much rice.. The sashimi slices were thick and nice, but I still prefer The Sushi Bar for overall dining experience.

Slightly pricey if you were to have it everyday for lunch, but it was really delicious and the place was packed even on a Sunday afternoon!

The curry wasn't spicy and tasted more like coconut curry than the Japanese curry. There was a lot of rice though, but too cute to complain!

They ran out of the red velvet waffles ๐Ÿ˜ฃ So, we decided to try out the Matcha Lava Cake. It was pretty ok..

Short grained rice covered with cubes of salmon and tuna sashimi, pickled daikon and carrots - it was a decent bowl of chirashi don, but I felt a bit lost without the usual condiments - shoyu and wasabi ๐Ÿ˜† The rice, was a little warm, resulting in some sashimi cubes to be slightly cooked by the rice ๐Ÿ˜… Overall, still a decent bowl of chirashi don. $19++

I think this was the best dish that we tried tonight. The slices of steak were thick and nicely cooked. I felt that the sauce on the rice was a little bland, but I do prefer more savoury food. Still very tasty and enjoyable!

It was a little too salty, I supposed I should have expected this - it's bacon after all! The batter was nice and crunchy, not too flour-y. The pickles from the tuna tartare helped wash away the saltiness from the tempura, preparing us for our main courses. $10++

Quite a refreshing starter - chunks of tuna sashimi and Hokkaido scallops, tossed together with crunchy pieces of pickled daikon and carrots. Perhaps it was because of the pickles, the tuna tartare became a bit watery towards the end. $14++

Sautรฉed mushrooms with meat, topped with sliced cheddar cheese, grated parmesan cheese, Japanese mayonnaise and drops of Tabasco sauce. Perfect for a Sunday morning breakfast, when I'm craving for savoury food.

The sashimi slices were thick and tasted fresh. Was a little disappointed with the swordfish sashimi though, which tasted bland and unsatisfying.

While the sashimi slices are a little thin, they were fatty and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My friend thought the portion of rice was kinda small, but I think it' shouldn't be a problem for the ladies who have smaller appetite.

Very flavourful and "wet", the way we like our hokkien mee. The $15 is enough for 3 hungry people. We'll definitely go back if we are craving for satisfying hokkien mee.
