The pizza dough is chewy and soft; the smoked salmon slices go very well with the sour cream. Very satisfying with their special chili oil.
I love yam paste, and the one at New Ubin Seafood is one of the better ones that I've tried. They are very generous with the yam, the Orh Nee is really smooth and doesn't taste oily. Drizzle with some coconut milk (served separately) for the ultimate gratification.
The rice was a little hard and cold, and I could be wrong but I think it wasn't the short-grain Japanese rice. We ordered some sashimi slices and they were waaaay too cold, tasted like they were right out of the fridge. I think this place has the potential to become better though. The service was really good, so overall it was still a pretty enjoyable meal.
I thought that this dish was pretty awesome. It was my first time having savoury waffle and it was actually better than I had expected. The waffle was fluffy, good enough to be eaten on its own. The fried chicken slices were very well-marinated, but maybe a little dry. Nevertheless, they were definitely tasty especially if you dip them into the sauce!
Very dense cake, tad sweet for me.
Love love love the slightly chao-tar taste (wok hei?)!
Deep fried succulent pork pieces in sweet and sour sauce -- craving satisfied ๐ I'm glad the sauce here isn't too sweet or ketchup-y.
$7 per stick, minimum 2 sticks for each order.
While the beef rendang was flavourful, the lasagne was a little dry and we wished there was more of the rendang in this dish.
