Haven't ate this ramen for quite awhile, so we decided to go down to the main branch. However, to our dismay, they were out of the soft boiled eggs that day! π’ Anyways, back on the ramen, the noodles were still al dente and nice, but the soup was a little too sticky (unlike the first time I ate it, the thickness was just right). We tried the green tea soda too; tasted like the silver ball sweet (that tasted like cola; note: old school sweet), I like the taste thou π. | $10.80++ with $3
Went to the tour and tried the beer straight from the factory! I don't normally like Tiger beer, but this tasted really smooth! I gotta say, it tastes better than the ones bought outside! They taught us how to serve up a good beer and some tiger beer tradition
Taste like normal hokkien mee, but worth a try nevertheless! They do sell normal hokkien mee served on opeh leaf, but didn't cross our mind to try it too. Ingredients include: fresh big prawns, lala, roast pork and pork lard π. | $10 for 2 pax | $20 for 4 pax
If you like your waffle slightly salty, I think you will like it! Crispy and airy waffle, with nonya chendol gelato, red bean and pandan jelly. Personally I think it reminds me of kaya butter toast π| $12 | Kinda in the expensive side. Tried their MSW and Chocolate gelato, and I think it's quite dense in flavour.
The hotcake (note: NOT pancake) tastes like crispy ιΈ‘θη³. Worth a try but maybe just once? Cuz it's quite expensive for a dessert. Mains are relatively alright with an Asian twist, but again, can be quite pricey. Coffee is top notch ππΌ
Back for their wagyu pizza π. On a side note, how did they make their fries fully infused with truffle?! I could still taste it every time I burp ππ
Cafe/chill out: Cakes and Ale @Sorrento, Melbourne. Although this is not in Singapore, I have to post it, cuz the service and food here is undeniably good π, the ambience too. Will love to come back if I have the chance (backpack, maybe?π). Anyway, this is a 480gm ribeye with mustard seeds and herb butter. Their butter prawns are recommended too!!
Loved the waffles and sesame sauce. Asked the person-in-charge to recommend me what sauce was better on the softserve, and I did not regret it, love the smell of roasted sesame π. The waffle unlike the HK egglet, as I think their batter is waffle batter (lesser eggs??); anyway highly recommended and best if shared (you've been warned π)
Ordered the green tea (again!) and butterscotch almond ice cream. Ice creams were still top notch, but the waffle standard seems to have dropped a little π, it feels less dense than before.
New sauce! Not sure what's the name, but the staffs told us it's some Kinder Bueno sauce! U can actually taste the hazelnut flavour and biscuit, just like eating a real kinder! I tasted some nuts, but I wasnt 100% sure. Nevertheless, worth a try! π
Flavourful toast, but tad dry in the parts which was not drizzled with honey. Crispy on the outside, soft in the inside with butter infused within.
Gotta be my favourite to-go for crabs π. The portion reduced and the price increased from the other time I went (in the outlet at Grandstand). But nevertheless, the flavour was still there and we tried a new sauce; garlic butter, and my whole family fell in love with it (throw some noodle in!)
