I was so hungry after a bunch of meetings, but didn't want to eat anything sinful. Luckily, I had this bowl of goodness, and it lasted me till my next meal!
What's the win here? Well, It's sushi in a taco form, and what a treat this is. Rice, tuna fish, mentaiko sauce, protected by a layer of seaweed then snugly fitted into a crunchy shell of fried Gyoza skin. Damn good with a bottle of beer π
It was so juicy, and so easy to eat that I just kept going. It's on the @kuvosingapore menu, but you can order it from the bar!
Smart play on the textures, with a layer of prawn paste just sitting underneath that crispy suckling pig.
The Modern Chinese scene is competitive, and I'm Glad @elixirbarsg has a tapas menu that is up to the challenge.
Because I do! Bacon just has that Salty, savoury goodness to kick start my day.
I always keep a piece of my bacon aside till the end of my meal, then nibble on it as I watch TV π
It's only $3.80, and from today onwards, the 313 Somerset branch is having a 1-for-1 promo, so don't forget to check it out!
Koji has been a mainstay in my lunch plans for a while now, and it's because I like how they approach meals with a no-frills attitude. Fish is fresh and sliced thickly, there's not too much rice, and everything is done quickly and quietly. No fuss, no drama, just the way I like it.
Galbi-style marinated beef, pan seared to perfection, then topped with a perfectly runny egg.
All this, sitting on a bed of brown/red rice mix that fills you up.
This is impressive, and a dream to eat.
There's a slight char, and the flavour of the cognac comes through a little too strongly. The saving grace? Medium rare slices of beef that pad out the meal. At $23.90, it's needs abit more work before the value of the dish is commensurate to the price. Thank goodness, then, that it's at 50% for now, so you can go grab this and give it a try!
