A great kaarage is always fragrantly crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and light on the batter. This one was crispy, but didnāt have much flavour so Iām guessing that they didnāt marinate it sufficiently...
This is the original Butao King, and I do love it. The broth was warm, satisfying, and not ultra-salty. You can see I opted for the pork belly, which is really more a slab of solid meat with just a little more fat. Thereās none of that crazy thick layer of fat, but I like it that way.
Good place, and surprisingly affordable at $13.90++.
Finally a Tendon Bowl that has crispy items š¬ I enjoyed the large slab of Unagi, but the kicker were the tasty vegetables and beautifully Fried Prawns. Well done to the staff at Suntecās Kohaku Tendon š

The grass fed Nature of the meat means it has solid flavour, and that comes out beautifully in this medium rare rendition. 5 Stars for quality and A for Effort!

I frankly could not finish this one, but Iām happy to say that my dining compatriots did!
@montanasingapore is bringing the heat with their Samyang Fire Carbonara, and itās tongue-numbing from first bite to the last. If youāre a fan of spicy food, this is the one for you!
Of course, I take every chance I have to go to @wolfgangssteakhousesingapore for that guilty pleasure, and so we took my dad last week to this great place for a great time.
The soup stock sits squarely in the middle, like a stodgy old man who knows just enough to stay relevant.
Not bad, just not tasty enough to warrant a second order.
The thing about this bacon wrapped chicken burger from @candourcoffee was the lackluster bun that was saved by a robust bacon and chicken combination. The coffee was certainly 5 stars, but the burger needs abit more work before we can consider a return.
Of course, I took @fungisan out for an ice cream and coffee! Thanks, @burpple šš

Their fish is reasonably fresh, but I noticed a lot of families sharing their portions to save on ordering individual portions. This might be an indication that prices are a little expensive, but Iām holding out hope that customers will see the value in their food quality!
