This dumpling noodle scores on its springy, slightly alkaline noodles, but loses ground with its overly-thick dumpling skins that rob it of perfection.

The soup stock sits squarely in the middle, like a stodgy old man who knows just enough to stay relevant.
Not bad, just not tasty enough to warrant a second order.

Fried Dough Fritter Roll (SGD $4.50) @ Yin Ji.
After more than 2 years since the restaurant opened, I finally made my way to YinJi Singapore on a quiet Saturday afternoon, without the bustling CBD crowd (or whatever crowd there is now during the weekdays) for their famed cloth pulled rice rolls and congee.
Fried Teochew Meatballs
Prawn And Egg Cheong Fun
Smooth, silky, and delicious.
Really happy that I found this place at CBD!
