Established over 2 decades ago and operating before April 2013, this stall's rendition is for those who like it thick and creamy.
.
The thick creamy grainy broth is rich, infused completely with the essence of coconut milk, dried shrimp, laksa leaves, and sambal belachan, lending a savoury spice milky sweet herbal salty flavour.
.
The smooth thick rice vermicelli noodles is soft with a gentle chew and grainy sweet flavour. Garnished with crisp bean sprouts with vegetal sweet flavour, springy fish cake with sweet savoury flavour, juicy plump blood cockles with briny salty mineral notes, and spongy tofu puffs with grainy savoury spicy flavour.
.
Completed with a bouncy half chicken egg with eggy sweet flavour. Rather more filling than elsewhere.

Ye Lai Xiang at Marsiling Mall FC serves a myriad of dishes from lor mee to hei mee but the crown jewel is without a doubt their laksa.
For less than $5, you get a generous big bowl of laksa topped with taupok, fish cake, prawns and of course blood cockles.
For those who love your laksa broth lemak, Ye Lai Xiang's version is thick and creamy without being overwhelming with a nice savoury hint of the haebi in the broth.
If you are looking for a good big bowl of laksa, you should definitely make the trek up north!
