Yaowarat Toasted Bread (ขนมปังเจ้าอร่อยเด็ดเยาวราช)

The inside of the buns are buttered by default and they are placed on the charcoal grill to crisp up the bun skin. Then, the fillings are added accordingly. Eat it while is hot.
The available fillings for toasted buns are: chocolate, peanut, marmalade, milk, pineapple jam, strawberry jam, butter sugar & egg custards (kaya).
We ordered chocolate, milk, strawberry jam & egg custards (kaya). My personal favourite is milk fillings because it tastes something similar to condensed milk but not as sweet as what I’ve expected.

This was worth the long wait because the buns are crispy outside yet fluffy inside, well complemented with their fillings! Their signature flavours are condensed milk and kaya but they have many other flavours too!
