I tried these stunning and mouth-watering pastries from Whitfield St. Bakery, a homebased microbakery which specializes in Viennoiseries and Sourdough. As expected, my heart skipped a beat as soon as I saw 'em ~
》Raspberry Pistachio Croissant | The flavour of the raspberries and pistachio complimented each other really well and the crunch from the nuts added a nice contrast to it which was very delightful, this would have to be one of my faves.
》Lychee Rose Meringue Croissant | The aroma coming from the lychee rose and lightly torched meringue atop this treat was heavenly. It also had the right amount of sweetness on its cream patisserie filling which made it delectable.
》 Blackberry Pistachio Cream Croissant (New) | Had a generous blackberry and custard-like filling with a tangy/sweet flavour combo, it certainly whet my taste buds.
》Butter Croissant | Can't go wrong with this classic - Delicate and flaky pastry, every bite was addictive. It was hand laminated with French butter through a 36-hour process.
》Pain au Chocolat | What a gorgeous looking treat, just look at the perfect layered folds. This chocolatine was incredibly fab, I am totally hooked on it!
》Multiseed Croissant | A buttery pastry with various seeds on it (pumpkin, sunflower, golden flaxseed and linseed) which gave it a robust flavour and texture.
Possibly some of the best (prettiest) croissants I've ever had in Singapore, how can anyone possibly say no to these? I know I won't!
