For dessert, I had the Mango Catalana (Â¥590), a chilled and frozen treat. While the sweet taste of mango was present, I must admit I expected a creamier and more velvety texture. It shouldn't be frozen in the first place, maybe more toward creamy and wobbly like creme brulee.

Chicken Meatball with Secret Sauce (Â¥560), was the largest meatball I've ever seen! It was incredibly tender and chewy, served with a soft-boiled egg and a secret sauce that added an extra layer of flavour.

Soft Boiled Beef Tongue (Â¥990) was an absolute highlight. The thick cut of fatty beef tongue was succulent and tender, and the savoury sauce complemented it perfectly.

Grilled Snow Crab Creamy Croquette (Â¥730) was a creamy indulgence that couldn't be missed. The crab meat-filled croquette, deep-fried to perfection, was a delightful explosion of flavours and textures.

Crab Miso Shell (Â¥890) was a true umami delight. The rich crab meat served in the crab shell, torched with melted savoury miso, created a mouthwatering combination of flavours.

Next up was the Grilled Blackthroat Seaperch (Half) (Â¥2390), a rare catch that Niigata is famous for. The delicate and smooth meat was expertly grilled, imparting a delightful smoky flavour. Just be mindful of the numerous bones while enjoying this dish.
