Popular dim sum restaurant chain, Tim Ho Wan, has unveiled a new seasonal menu showcasing timeless classics with a modern twist. A total of 5 new dishes will be part of this fusion of flavours menu, combining time-honoured recipes with modern techniques. The Wasabi Mayo Mango Shrimp Fritters are bursting with sweetness and balanced with the fiery sweetness from the wasabi-flavoured cream, while the Minced Pork & Curry Chicken Fried Glutinous Dumpling come with two types of fillings. There are also the Black Pepper Beef Tenderloin Rice with Egg, Crabmeat & Shrimp Wonton with Dry HK Egg Noodles that has been tossed in lard oil, and the Original Egg White Spring Roll that is making a nostalgic comeback from years ago.

Salted Egg Lava Shrimp Toast (3pcs) ($7.50++): The shrimp toast 🦐🍞 was a combination of sweet & savoury, with the oozing salted egg lava being the highlight - eat it hot! 🤤
Beef Brisket Curry with Yuenyang Buns (4pcs) ($13.80++): The beef brisket was really tender 🐄; so shiok dipping the mantou in the curry 💯! The curry is not spicy and leans on the sweet side, kids-friendly!
HK Curry Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice ($13.80++): Their curry was rich & flavourful 🍛, perfect when doused on the fluffy & eggy 🍳 fried rice! The slab of pork chop 🐖 on the rice made it so hearty!
Curry is a common dish in Hong Kong and, the gravy is usually less spicy than other curries and has a creamy sweet-spicy flavour, made with a blend of aromatic herbs and spices with the addition of coconut milk to give it the richness.
Making a comeback is the HK Curry Pork Chop Egg Fried Rice ($13.80) which is a common sight in cha chaan teng that comes with a thick cut of juicy marinated bone-in pork cutlet. This is a comforting dish that has the egg fried rice with wok hei. A new addition to the curry series is the Beef Brisket Curry with Yuenyang Buns ($13.80), slow cooked beef brisket in the curry sauce and served with steamed and fried bun to soak up all the gravy.
The two dim sum in this limited time only menu are the Salted Egg Lava Shrimp Toast ($7.50) and Crispy Fried Milk Custard ($6). The former is a bread toast rolled with shrimp meat paste and lava salted egg filling before it gets deep fried till golden brown while the latter is a traditional Cantonese dessert made using milk custard and lightly battered before deep frying.
