Got this via Pickupp in a box of 4! Never tried @thefatkidbakery 's bombos before, I found this flavour pretty interesting.
The bombo is pretty oily, as with most donuts. I like that its slightly crispy on the outside, and pretty generously filled.
The filling kinda tastes like butter sweetened with honey. It's a pretty classic yet nice flavour, esp for butter lovers.
Would try @thefatkidbakery 's other flavours in the future too! Ps they're available on @pickupp.sg where you can get $5 off with my promo code 《BREADINOSAUR》! There's currently free delivery so dont say bojio 👌

@fatkidbakery recently launched their savoury line and I just had to try them. One box has 4 flavours which are Spicy Egg Mayo, Tuna Nori Crunch, Sour Cream & Onion and Roasted Garlic Mascarpone. I had the spicy egg mayo and Tuna Nori Crunch and preferred the tuna nori crunch because it had more flavours and textures in it. I would have liked the spicy egg mayo more if it was less creamy and more spicy but they were both good in their signature fluffy bombolinis ☺️
Had really fluffy bombolinis from @thefatkidbakery and we were just in time to get the CNY specials before they ended! We had black sesame, peanut crunch, apple cinnamon and oolong. I liked all of them and enjoyed the black sesame most! 😋
An abbreviation for Italian Bombolonis, which is fitting because the sweet filling explodes in your mouth when you eat one!☺️
Founded in 2020 by a 24 year old self-taught baker, @thefatkidbakery offers an array of signature bakes, which ranges from sourdough breads to croissants, eclairs and flavoured bomboloni!🤤
Comes in boxes of 4/8/10/12, here’s what I tried…😬
👉Earl Grey - SGD4
👉Blueberry Cheesecake - SGD4.80
👉Sea Salt Maple - SGD5
👉Vanilla Creme Brulee - SGD4
Swipe left👈 to the end to check out their All Year Round flavours!
With a very slight Tang, their signature bombolonis were light, fluffy and not overly sweet. Among the flavours I tasted, I particularly like their Sea Salt Maple and Earl Grey!
Is it just me or you guys also feel that the sugar coating was actually quite redundant…🤣

The doughnuts are soft, fluffy and not sweet. The filling is towards liquid (so get prepare become messy), and I prefer more filling.
💰$17 for 4 doughnuts.

For those who enjoy a selection of more unconventional flavoured sourdough donuts, The Fat Kid Bakery’s was certainly it. Starting from $14 for a box of four, their sourdough bombos featured a gentle tang and have a wonderfully airy, pillowy-soft, almost fluffy texture. The ratio of filling to dough was also decent - the lightness of the sugar-coated dough helped to cut the usual richness that you get with the confection.
Hence, stuffing myself with their Earl Grey (+$0.50), Strawberry Shortcake (+$1.50), Mango (+$1.50), and Chocolate Mess (+$0.50); I did generally enjoy the flavours with the exception of the Strawberry Shortcake as it lacked an oomph for me. My favourite out of the lot would definitely be the Earl Grey as the tea-infused cream was strong and fragrant. The Mango, following closely behind the Earl Grey, had a nice sweetness to it. However, I found the viscosity of their filling a tad too watery overall so it was a messy affair eating these.
