Taco Beach

Made the trip down here (a 30min walk) for Taco Tuesday & was pretty excited - unfortunately, I was under the wrong impression that all tacos on the menu were 25K++ IDR each.. This isn't the case; there's a special menu for that.

I was really hungry, but I ordered the Cajun Blackened Prawns & Simple Chicken just to try them out first. Opted for soft tacos & I wasn't very impressed with them - they were indeed soft, but a little dry.

The Simple Chicken came with avocado & I later learned this is a lightly seasoned option "good for kids".. No wonder it felt too plain for my liking - but the sambal served on the side helped save it a little.

The Cajun Blackened Prawns were decent, though I did find it strange that the tails were still on. I had to de-tail them & put them back in the taco before eating them. They came on a layer of dirty rice which was nice.

The other options on the promotional menu include: Vegetarian Chorizo, Baby Asparagus with Feta (which wasn't available until "later, maybe 1 hour"), Low Sodium Ayam Betutu, Grilled Eggplant Blue Cheese, Pork on Fire.

However, seeing as to how I didn't find the 2 tacos I had very special, I decided to give the rest a miss.
