Pop by Bali Lane for a taste of Bangkok with a pal or two. To get your appetites going, start with the fiery Tom Saap Soup ($7.50) for nice zesty kick or choose the surprisingly spicy yet creamy Green Curry ($7.50). To douse the flames, order their refreshing Lemongrass Drink ($3), and end the night on a sweeter note with their Mango Sticky Rice ($7).

Came by to satisfy our cravings for tom yum and it was pretty good! Apart from the usual flat rice noodles, they added mushrooms, fish, prawns and chicken chunks - quite a good amount for the price tag. Would have liked the smoother type of rice noodles as this didnβt seem to soak up the broth as well, but the broth was flavourful. Itβs not that spicy, so add on the chilli padi to your liking!

π€: Basil taste was there, but would have been better if it was more distinct. The flavours of a good basil pork/chicken did not really carry through here, so I was not the biggest fan of this dish. Liked that they had an option with egg tofu, which was pan-fried before being added to the dish, and yet still stayed silky smooth.

π€: For its price, we were definitely shocked by the portion and taste. Shared amongst three fo us, we could not even finish it. Had a slight wok hei fragrance to it and it wasn't too spicy (would have personally preferred it spicer). It is definitely on the wetter side, so the taste was a bit watered down, but still delicious and something orth ordering when you are there!
$6.50 for a meal which is the green curry with rice. I had never tried green curry before and it was my friend's favourite Thai dish. It turned out to be spicy, which my friend said it's not supposed to be. She cannot take spiciness at all. I loved it so much! And she continued eating it, too, despite the fact that it was burning her up. Well, that means it was good huh ππ½
I will definitely come back for this.
There was way too much ice and because it was a sort of crushed ice, the drink got diluted pretty fast. The lemon grass drink was rather interesting. I recommend that instead of the milk tea
