For those who have not visited the highly anticipated Geylang Serai Ramadan Bazaar, it’s ending in 2 days! With over 800 stalls spread out in a few areas, there is surely something for everyone.

Served with chicken meatballs cooked in satay sauce, along with soft ketupats, onions and cucumbers. Generously drenched with piping hot satay sauce. Sedap!

These meatballs were not bad! It tasted like a harder (and better) version of ikea meatballs, with a crispier outer surface. The curly fries sadly got quite soft in the cheese sauce and mashed potatoes though. Overall it was not bad, but it wasn’t something I would want to queue one hour for (which I did, sadly haha).

From Sofnade at the ongoing pasar malam (till 1 Jan 2017) at Yishun MRT Station which pops up and random locations across the island in pasar malams — check their Facebook Page/Instagram where they would post more information about subsequent pop-up dates and locations.

Ordered the Chendol Soft Serve in original configuration — there is a choice of a few other toppings as well. Decently priced at $3.50, the soft serve carries light notes of Gula Melaka which is enhanced by the Gula Melaka sauce drizzled on the sides while coming with Pandan jelly and desiccated coconut to replicate Chendol. It's not too bad an attempt and the smooth soft serve actually is a great respite from the heat especially since its not overly sweet, though melts a little bit too quickly. Still, a decent eat at a pasar malam that's actually not too overpriced and too gimmicky overall.
