Another dish that is all over Penang. This is different from SG's version because it is less vinegary, and the soup is a lot thicker and saltier. It is also a lot simpler, with no ngor hiang, fish cake wanton or fried fish etc. It comes served with a slice of egg, fried scallions, pork slices, and small shrimp. A very no-frills, simple lor mee that I might actually prefer over some of the heavier varieties in SG. But I will always prefer the lor mee that serves some fried fish/pork with it so SG's one is better.
