Prawn Omelette 虾煎蛋 》$8 Not worth the try. This dish wasn't served hot to us. The prawns were cold. Omelette was quite plain.

Scallop With Broccoli 带子西兰花 》$18 A healthier choice dish. Broccoli looks nice but they were actually quite hard to chew. Scallops were fresh and soft but the gravy was bland.

Cereal Chicken 🐓 KFC was surely very generous on the amount of cereal sprinkled on each chicken. The only difference from a zi char cereal chicken was it lacks a little sweetness. I felt that if the cereal chicken was made into bite size pieces (eg. cereal popcorn chicken), it would be really addictive! 🐔

Value for Money Chicken Chop ($7.50) Hidden in a corner of SengKang is this western food stall. The important thing is the variety of western food you can order. Pizza, spring chicken, the traditional you name it. And the price is very reasonable. The chicken chop comes with two sides and I chose whip potato and fries. They gave generous portions of both.

The key thing is the condensed milk and well-cooked red beans which gives a soft and smooth azuki texture. Seafood Olio A mixture of linguine, prawns, clams and squid cooked in aglio olio style. This is much lighter in flavour as compared to their tomato-based pasta. It was a little salty towards the end and I prefer it to have more garlic fragrance and some spicy kick 》$7.50

Seafood Arrabiata The linguine was cooked firm to the bite with crunchy prawns, clams and squid tossed in spicy tomato sauce. It has a strong tomato base that was not as spicy as I thought. It may be a good option for kids or those who have a lower tolerance for spicy food 》$7.50

Seafood Aglio Olio with Onsen Egg (~$8.50) Delicious al dente pasta at pocket friendly prices! Seafood is fresh and the linguine has an amazing bite to it. Pasta is flavourful and well seasoned. Always love pairing it with an onsen egg and opting for smoked salmon as an add-on if I feel like it. (The result is a very protein-packed pasta yums) Pro-tip for takeaway orders: Order via Foodpanda and opt for self pick up for 18% off the total price!

Braised Fish Instant Noodle From a new 黄焖鸡 stall. There's a wide selection of things you can braise and I picked fish. It's extremely simple, just fish, noodle and gravy. The flavour was richer than I expected and the fish was chunky and fresh.

Razor Clam You Mian China Whampoa opened here. Unfortunately it's a disaster. I always thought they're guaranteed good. The noodles were undercooked and the seasoning was mainly salty. Perhaps the HQ needs to re-train them.

Meatball 渔粉 粗粮渔粉 opened here. It's the first time I'm seeing they have a dry noodle menu, so I tried one. This is the short box so their portion is small relative to their soup dishes. The meatballs were tasty but the sauce was salty.

Comfort Food Kyaw Teow Soup One of my favour comfort food, love the fish stick (beancurd skin with some paste). This is the basic kyaw Teow soup at $3.80, they also have the premium one with more “Liao”

Fei Siong Laksa $3.50 Laksa with no cockles Served with tau pok, fishcake and boiled egg. As Fei siong speaks for its brand, the flavor of the laksa is quite standard with the right amount of coconut milk and chili.

Fried Fish Meat Rice Noodle Pleasantly surprised the meat is so fresh & solid, unlike those so flimsy & heavily coated with flour. Portion is generous too. Cost $3.50 👍

Wanton Noodle A local version of HK style wanton noodle, good portion of char siew meat, fried & boiled wanton, plus greenly choi sum. Taste good!@$3.00

Kueh Bangkit McFlurry I guess this is the Chinese New Year special. The kueh bangkit refers to the flavour of the ice cream. I don't like that biscuit, but here it tasted like coconut, so it's fine.
