The YOLO Yolo burger ($19.80 on deliveroo) Single patty- chose the beef, fried egg, fried spam, fried onion strings, cheddar cheese patty and smoked chipotle on sesame bun. Beef patty was too salty, so was the fried spam. Fried egg was a little overcooked. Everything tasted too mushy and salty and oily. Fries were thick but soggy and tasteless. Overall a very disappointing meal. Will not order again.

Shroom Melt Shroom Melt ($14.80 on Deliveroo) Comes with fries. Beef chuck patty, shiitake mushrooms, melted swiss cheese and garlic aioli sauce on whole meal bun. Beef patty was too salty, the whole burger tasty too mushy. The mushrooms were not soft nor seasoned well. Fries were thick but soggy and tasteless. I barely ate a few and threw the rest away. Will not order this again.

First Try Yummy food but noisy place to be at. Considered quite chilled too. Maybe go another outlet next time

Kway Teow Goreng Tarik Essentially with satay. Everything was acceptable but nothing fantastic. That means for their prices it's questionable.

Maggi Goreng Special & Prata!! 😍😋 Brings back memories of Project Meraki, a project that will always have an important place in my heart ❤️ #prata #goreng #curry #supper // 借著凌晨兩點發宵夜文來圖文不符嘍～ #慧思敏語 九月一號週日花了一整天做社區服務，感覺特別爽。感恩遇到Grp 9 可愛的小夥伴們一起為社會盡一份力，讓社會變得更美好一些。就如學姐借來分享的金句，「一個人多麼富有不是在於他擁有多少，而是他能付出多少」～ 大家從早上9點集合到晚上約10點多結束，整整13小時的Servathon。累但是值得！ 早上到租賃租屋做問卷調查，了解那裡居民的需要同時分發新床單。問卷之後交給了社會企業Kindness Mart跟進。之後就是午餐時間了，同時也是特別企劃Street Angel的執行時間。我們到街上把小禮物和親手寫的卡片送給我們覺得日常生活中常被忽略的＂小人物＂。比如送貨員，清潔工等等。我把我那份小禮物送給了清潔工爺爺，當我看到這些老爺爺老奶奶辛苦工作時心裡總會很心疼不捨。老爺爺驚喜的表情告訴我這樣的活動應該多辦點。最好是融入日常生活中裡，也不一定要送禮物。對這些不可或缺的重要人物，不要說重視了，一聲謝謝一個微笑也能夠讓他們感覺到自己有被當人看待。 之後到了特別的地方開始第三項任務，和我們的special friends 參加嘉年華會。陪他們玩了很多遊戲，但那不是重點重點是和他們的對話。有一位大哥跟我聊了很多，他有看新聞所以對時事新聞頗有了解。 最喜歡巫启贤《太傻》的他說： 「我不喜歡打仗，我喜歡和平，打仗會害死人的，不要打仗」「你們都是好人，來這裡陪我們。可惜這個世界壞人比好人多。你是好人」 還有很多很有道理的話，我想說你也是好人。只是生的這場大病毫不留情地剝奪了你擁有的美好將來的可能性～ 活動當兒有分發豆花給special friends，護士也有一份。在我旁邊那位護士說她剛吃飽，吃不下所以等下再吃。結果當她看到special friends把他們那份吃完之後，她想都沒想就把自己那份拿了過來，分給他們吃。我問她是不是不喜歡吃豆花，她說：No la, because I can go and buy this anytime but they cannot leave this place. （不是的，我可以隨時買來吃但是他們不能離開這個地方。) 聽了這句話感觸很深😢 最後到外籍員工宿舍和華人巴士車長一起提前慶祝中秋節。這群是我們大部份人每天都會看到的，但是誰有機會和他們一對一地談話呢？在他們身上我看到了敬業精神。四川成都來了六年半的包車長，把CCK所有路線都背下來了。他說上頭交代下來的事情，要把事情做好了是員工應該做的。打工的就應該要能讓老闆放心，工作態度很重要。兒子工作了幾年，經濟能力也變好了所以一直催車長回國。但是他想要多待一陣子，賺多點錢買套房子。當他說起開了30多年的巴士，準確說出來新的年月日時。我在他眼裡看到了滿滿的自豪。其中一位車長更是唱了一首他自己深夜想家時創作的歌曲，真的很感動😭 透過這次活動，我更深入了解移民工離鄉背井到這裡來的艱辛。這裡語言陌生，食物吃不慣每天自己煮，休假也不怎麼出去玩。谢谢車長叔叔誇我優秀，希望你們能早日如願回家和家人團聚🌸 很慶幸自己選擇參加Servathon 2019! Supper time of our lives One of my favourite late night supper place to go do. Everytime come here must have their herbal pork mee sua. The pork meats were all tender, and soup was very flavourful. A must have when u visit Seng Kee. Another must have dish here, is their chaota bee hoon, blanchan with lime goes so well with the bee hoon. All the seafood are hidden under the blanket of chaota bee hoon. The prawn paste Chicken also not bad, crispy skin was shiok. Seng kee is a great option for any late night supper.

Black ginseng chicken soup Been awhile since my last visit but this traditional black chicken soup is still as hearty and nourishing as ever

Hearty Hawker Favourites Chaota Beehoon ($10.80) - full of flavour and delightfully crispy at the edges, this was a great with the accompanying chilli. Though my dad preferred JB Ah Meng's version. White Mee Sue ($6.80) - chock full of fish slices, minced pork, and even small shrimps, we couldn't stop slurping up this bowl of goodness. Highly recommended! Qing Long Chye ($13.80) - it was alright, slightly more expensive than our usual order of Kang Kong or sweet potato leaves. Prawn Cracker ($13.80) - crispy and filled with minced prawn, dip it in the accompanying mayo for a good bite to whet your appetite. Can get slightly heavy towards the end though, so best to share this with 4 pax.

Set meal This set is for Delivery only from their online website. It’s very substantial and balanced diet.

Poached Chicken A little less good .... Still prefer the standards at their River Valley outlet . Chicken tastes more supple there . No demonstration of the pouring of soy sauce over chicken here 🥴.

Xiao Chao Wang (小炒王） My must order fish from boon tong kee. Crisp sweet chai po , crunchy long beans, juicy fried beancurd and crunchy peanuts. An explosion of taste and textures .

nia shoyu ramen 1-1 soup was not too salty, light but flavourful. noodles were cooked well 🙂 paid $7.50 for 2 bowls which was quite worth. was told by staff that the shoyu ajitama cannot be ordered from the machine, but that ramen consisted of only corn, egg and bean sprouts... note that the restaurant is really small and squeezy, and you have to order first before you get your seats.

Salted Egg Crab Ramen We decided to try them yet I ended up trying a fusion ramen. This is from their Singapore menu and I always chuckle when Takagi associates itself with anything Singapore. I don't know why the broth is separate, because the noodles were too dry on their own. I ended up adding the broth, which was damn weird mixed with the salted egg sauce. The crab is a soft-shell crab. I don't wanna be too harsh but their ramen failed for me because the noodle was tougher than when you order hard ramen. And I verified it because my kaedama portion was equally hard.

Takagi Ramen The food is nice but cleanliness failed as a Ramen restaurant, price around $8-$15/ pax excluded drinks

Mala Hotpot Xiao Long Kan Hotpot is one of my go-to whenever I’m craving for mala hotpot! The 3-flavour pot (奔驰锅) let you dive into three delicious soup bases, including the signature Traditional Spicy Soup (牛油红锅) – a fiery, bubbling cauldron that’s perfect for spice lovers. If you’re not a fan of heat, don’t worry – the tomato and pork bone broths offer a milder, comforting alternative. They offer a variety of fresh ingredients for hotpot. For those feeling adventurous, dishes like Supreme Thousand-layered Beef Omasum (千层毛肚) and Beef Tripes (鲜毛肚) are also available. I have to say they have one of the best mala hotpot in Singapore! So save this down if you’re a fan of mala!

Chinese hotpot from Chengdu Since shopping around Chinatown, drop by to Xiao Long Kan Hotpot, traditional Chinese hotpot from Chengdu to warm our tummy. First time here, we decided to go for their 3 Flavour Pot, which includes Tomato, Pork Bone Soup, and Butter Spicy Broth. All the broth are quite good, and the ingredients are fresh. Love The Soups! First time trying Xiao Long Kan. The mala is so potent but shiok! The smells lingers on forever.... The pork bone broth is also very gao and if you love soup, you'll enjoy it. The variety of food is good and fresh. Price based on our per pax spending is about the same as BIAP and slightly cheaper than HDL. But the soup base is better though service cannot fight HDL. Their sauce is pretty good but note that they charge for every can of sesame oil you open.

Sausage Egg Mcmuffin W Milo And Corn 5.8nett The burger was tasteless, but the buttered corn was decent. Milo was way too diluted and sweet though

Curry Chicken Briyani Another standup presentation @srisunexpress, situated at 474 tampines st 43. Curry Ayam Paha <chicken thigh> Briyani with bayam <spinach, my all time fav>, telur and of course that crispy Kipas looking koropok called papedum 😹😹😹. A little spicy though. But my kinda Briyani especially when it's nicely cook with all the herbs and spices. Thumbs up... power lah!

Mee Kuah If you're looking for a "healthier" version of mee kuah, this might be the one for you. They are too generous with their vegetables portion I'd say. The soup has a thick consistency, which may not appeal to some but it was okay for me. After a few bites, I was already gasping for water... i think they added too much seasoning inside so, this is probably the first and last time I'm ordering this? *nervous laughter* Price: $5 (plain) / $6 (with chicken or beef)
