From their array of dishes, the chicken kebab (Murgh Malai Kebab) won my heart. Tender chicken that’s mildly seasoned with herbs, and cooked in traditional tandoor oven. Goes well with their Biryani. 路过不要错过 (don't miss out!) was craving indian food so we decided to try out manam as it was near my dad's office. a little hesitant at first because we were afraid that the food would be too westernized/commercialised but it turned out to be extremely mouthwatering and tantalizing! the mutton biryani ($24+) used good quality basmati grains that were fluffy & not dry, and the mutton was only very slightly gamey! as a non-mutton eater, i thoroughly enjoyed the flavour & went back for more. the butter chicken ($20+) was decently portioned and the sauce was just so flavourful. would order with garlic naan when i go back again 🤭 highly recommend!! great service by anitha too 🫶🏻 the interior of the restaurant is dimly lit & gave off mbs hotel restaurant vibes so that is 😍😍😍 so happy to have found this

First time trying Indian-Chinese The basmati seafood fried rice is easily my favourite dish here! Extremely fragrant with a tinge of spiciness, you also get to find many fresh fried prawns inside too. Plus, my indian friend shared that they always have Chinese food with ketchup, though i felt its good even without it! Had my fair share of naans, curries and mango lassi. By the riverbank, its a peaceful place for group dinners ($15.90 for the fried rice)

Butter Chicken Set (~$12) I really love trying Indian food on mealpal because they are always generous with their portions and always so hearty and filling. Tried Indian House and their set was the same if not better! Everything was served hot and the naan was really chewy and tasty even by itself. Unfortunately you don’t get to pick up your food immediately because they want to serve it piping hot so it takes a while to prepare your lunch set.

Decent Chinese dishes! If you are looking for some hearty Chinese dishes, @min_xiao_min is a relatively new restaurant that may be able to satisfy your cravings! We tried some of their speciality items and here were my favourites: Fried Pork In Spring Rolls ($7.80) - I have eaten many Ngoh Hiang in my life, and these hit different 😍 they were very freshly fried, and the meat filling within was very meaty and flavourful. Definitely loved it with their sweet chilli sauce. Not sure if that's the original portion though, as its expensive for 2 rolls. Tenderised Pork Knuckles in Vinegar ($18.80) - a classic Chinese dish, this was a good rendition. The meat itself was tender, and the skin and fat just melted in the mouth. It can get really rich and surfeiting, so it's best to get some rice for the gravy and share this dish. Their dishes were definitely decent and worth a visit if you are nearby! Prices were relatively affordable too considering the Clarke Quay area. Thank you @foodleaguesg for the invite and @min_xiao_min for the food! Do follow them for updates!

Dumplings carbonara 22nett The wait was insanely long. 15mins for each dish, and so 30mins total because they only have 1 pan. Lol Dumplings were passable, carbonara sauce was very wrong and there's also pork lard things. Cacophonic, they don't go tgt at all

Mushroom tteokbokki gnocchi 18nett (used BB) Is really tteokbokki in a western-ish mushroom sauce. The balance is terrible, it doesn't taste like anything and despite the chaos there's no strong flavours. Very bad

Prawn and Seaweed Aglio Olio | $26 I’d imagine aglio olio to have the elements of both garlicky and spicy, but I guess they were trying to do a Japanese fusion take on it. With the seaweed and perhaps soy-based sauce, this “aglio olio” had an oddly sweet umami flavour that didn’t really blend well with the overall dish. This really didn’t hit the spot for me. Rate:🌟🌟

Harry’s 7 $39 Delightful sharing platter, the sauce is amazing. Octopus is crispy and flavourful, tandoori chicken well-seasoned. sausage was quite basic though. Fries well-seasoned. Otah Toasties was the best, crispy and easy to eat. Perfect ratio of bread to otah paste.

Prawn & Seaweed Aglio Olio - $26++ Amazing choice for low calorie pasta. Generous with number of prawns. Sprinkled with sea-weed shreds. Chilli padi can be easily put on the side, if you can't handle it. This is my go-to dish in any Harry's and they never disappoint!
