Com Tam Broken Rice with grilled pork is a classic street food here in Saigon. Was pretty adamant about going for a famous store, but was afraid that I'll get lost in a non tourist-friendly city, so decided to heed the advice of the hotel receptionist to try this stall 3 mins away from my hotel. Breakfast was a traditional Vietnamese street food called Xoi, glutinous rice with pork and fried shallots. This is, according to the guide, Is Saigon's second most popular breakfast after baguette. Glutinous rice and toppings are alright, but was blown away by the Char Siew. We hardly have this fatty Char Siew in Singapore cos we are too health conscious and goody two shoes. Love!
