Their lor mee is always a comfort bowl, loaded with fresh seafood and meat slices, mushrooms. But the fried mihun is bland nth to shout about, Jz nicely done.

As a foochew, red wine chicken always remind me of home. This is a dish that my aunt will always make during Chinese New year and birthday as a celebration.

The red wine chicken in putien is very rich in flavor, the tender juicy chicken thigh is cooked together with wood fungus for extra crunch.

White rice go very well with this dish too.

It’s the time of the year when Lunar New Year is approaching and many of those who celebrate this festive season will be looking for a decent Chinese restaurant for their prosperity meal and their yearly tossing session over Yu Sheng/Lou Sang/Yee Sang Salad. Check out Putien’s Prosperity Yu Sheng for a flavourful twist which feature their signature Seaweed from the city of Putian. I find them pretty refreshing especially the orange peels gives it a bit of the zesty taste overall. RM46.80 for small, RM66.80 for medium and RM106.80 for large serving.
