Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium

You can't leave Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium without grabbing this soda. It’s like a souvenir in a can! Sure, you might find it elsewhere, but this drink is specially made for the aquarium, so it’s best to enjoy it here for the full experience.

The soda is sweet, fizzy, cooling, and refreshing, with a hint of salt that reminds you of the ocean. It’s the perfect thirst-quencher after exploring all the aquarium’s attractions. The drink’s vibrant blue colour adds to the whole oceanic vibe!

As for the aquarium itself, it’s quite a large and crowded place, felt that its similar to Singapore's Underwater World, so I breezed through most exhibits. But despite the familiar layout, there’s something special about the vibe, the fresh air, and the sea breeze here that makes it different. If you have extra time, I recommend exploring nearby spots like the Tropical Dream Center or Okinawa Village, which are connected by pathways.

This aquarium visit was part of a Klook bus tour I booked (SGD $50 - $70), and we had around 2.5 hours to explore the aquarium before heading to other places. The tour included some other great stops like:
- Okashigoten Onna Branch
- Cape Manzamo (Ticket: ¥100)
- Ryukyu Mura (Ticket included)
- Hoshino Resorts BANTA CAFE (One Free drink provided)
- American Village for some free time (just note that you’ll need to arrange your own transportation back to the place you stay from here). No worries though, there are public buses run back to Naha, with the last one leaving around 9 PM. Let me know if you need the bus guide!

Overall, the tour was a good deal, especially if you don’t have your own transport but still want to hit all the must-see attractions.
