Enjoying the local big lobster in gravy.
Gravy could have been a little lighter for us to better enjoy the freshness of the lobster.

Had high expectations, given that this used to be a well patronised seafood restaurant in the larger Desaru area. Not quite impressed.

终于找到面包台了,它被摆在一个没空调,不显眼的角落。今天的早餐算完美了!

咖啡,茶都不错!食物种类还蛮多的,除了水果,还有汤面,沙拉,奶酪,华人粥,马来饭,各种烹煮蛋等。美中不足的是面包台上除了甜甜圈和几样糕点外,找不到可以和奶酪搭配的新鲜烤面包。服务方面则很周到,尤其是服务员会时不时的向我们递上果汁或是介绍刚出炉的点心或他们独特的饮料,用这种方式来传达他们的‘嘘寒问暖’,让人倍感幸福!!

This cafe serves pretty good buffet breakfast. I am surprised that the soft-boiled eggs are perfectly done, to the exact point when egg white turned white while remaining liquid. I love the noodle too. You've a choice of vegetable and fish soup. Of course it is really nice eating next to the pool with the sun rising above the sea.

Hidden in Anantara Desaru, this unassuming restaurant serves authentic and fabulous Malaysia fusion Thai food. The satay was so tender and fragrant, the lamb shank falls off the bone and the the rendang was just so delicious. Great service, great ambience. Definitely recommend.

The restaurant lives up to its name by cooking lobsters very well. I’ve not had lobsters cooked in this traditional broth before but it was tasty and retained the sweetness of the lobster. Local lobsters are RM 220 / kg here, which is lower than other places nearer to the resort. Each large lobster is around 400-600g. Well worth the trip from Desaru centre, which is a 25 min drive.

This was very good, well fried, tasty. Highly recommended, not sure if you can find better in Desaru! Small portion had 7-8 large prawns.

There's a bunch of dishes here even in the morning (arrived at 10am), but building my own nasi lemak was an interesting prospect.

They have stalls serving other food but most were not yet open.

The decor is nice, comfy chairs, sofa's and umbrellas hanging from the ceiling, good place for groups.

The Black Pepper Venison was fragrant and tasty. The Salted Egg Crabs were huge and fresh, coated with yummy salted egg sauce. Love the sauce for the Sambal Lala...give me a plate of rice!
