Buffalo Wings, $9.
MU breakfast, $16.
Pretty lucky to go on a day (Friday) that has 1 for 1 buffalo wings! (Explains the 2 plates of buffalo wings for 2 person) The wings was okay, not too bad. But the MU breakfast was such a disappointment. The poached eggs wasn't even poached?????? Spicy pork sausage was a mehhhhhh. Loved the fries though. Portion's pretty generous. Recommended if u ain't that pf a fussy eater!
Holland V is astonishingly quiet on a Saturday afternoon! Is the little bohemian neighbourhood losing its appeal? There were only two other customers around when I stepped into this inconspicuous cafe on the second storey.
This caramel praline looks like a fist-sized Ferroro Rocher with its gold-powered chocolate shell. The yellow caramel mousse layer is first revealed after the intrusion, dig deeper and you'll uncover the hazelnut mousse centre. A pleasant light dessert with crunchy nut bits in the shell.
The seats next to the window wall are ideal for people-watchers/stalkers/anthropologists, you get an excellent view of Holland V market and the people traffic (if there were any).
Quietly hidden on the second floor of the shophouses in Holland Village, Mu Parlour gives off a New York loft vibe with its bright yet modern furnishing complimented with homely breakfast food and tea. Great place for people watching too!
The burger is very yummy..must try if you just happen to pass by Holland Village.
Tried out their 1-for-1 Mu Breakfast which comes with bacon, spiced sausage, 2 brioche toasts, runny eggs (they were supposed to be poached but apparently, the kitchen couldn't make them so early......), salad and fries. Although I would have preferred it with poached eggs, it was pretty good overall!! And worth it - $16 for 2 plates!! 😊👌🏼
Cozy little space somewhere in Holland V : ) loved the simple and clean interior! Burger was lovely ha I swear charcoal buns make everything so much more interesting. Tart was great as well! Tangy lemon curd balanced out the sweet cream perfectly.
