It was on promotion at $1 because it expires the next day. Soft souffle with sweet custard cream filling. Nice tea break on a weekend!
One of the commonly seen westerner tibits and it was found at Medi-ya. Got the splitz version to try, 1 side of the cookie is drizzled with icing sugar, another side is filled with brownie batter. The cookie itself was quite dense too.
Passed by Meidi-Ya Supermarket around 7-ish pm and their sushi boxes were already on discount - yay! Grabbed the negitoro don at just $8 after the promo. It was fresh, nicely portioned and I liked that they didnβt forget to include chopped spring onions on the side to go along.
In the cooked food section of the supermarket lie a few stalls selling quite authentic Japanese food such as this soba. The tempura is definitely worth the meal. Only disappointment is the soup is way bit too salty. Overall itβs still a good meal.
