lunch sets from $20++. the beef was stir fried w teriyaki and onions. a bit of nice marbling, but cut with the grain which I didn't like.

Hands down the best I've had in SG!! This little gem is hidden at the basement of the old heeren! PLEASE GO & TRY!! 🙏🙏🙏

It was meh. I tasted all the other soup bases my colleague ordered, apparently I got the shortest end of the stick.

Every bit as heavenly. This was easily the best dish of the evening. Temperature of the sashimi was perfect, the seared salmon, especially, was blew my mind.

I won't faint!

What can I say? It was watery - definitely a far cry from the thick, viscous one I had in Japan.

Still miss the Coco Ichibanya I had on a cold day in Sapporo. 😔

But the parfait was better though!

Ahh, tonkotsu, how I love your thick, oily broth - full of flavor.

Met the secondary school guys today for dinner. Meat was good, sauce was meh. I should have just gotten the salad. Healthier, heh. 😞
