Hailing from Malaysia, with 100 years of history and 30 stores, this is the first store out of Malaysia and the flagship one in Singapore. My favourites are Curry Chicken Pan Mee ($11.90) and Hot & Spicy Pan Mee 🌢 ($8.90).

Dining at @wooriceboxsg second outlet at Jurong Point. This well-known Taiwanese πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ό brand established in 1939 has over 200 stores in Taiwan!
Ingredients are specially imported from Taiwan to uphold standards, including Premium rice grains 🍚 and marinades from Taichung. Also, they use customised wooden boxes to maintain freshness of takeaway food.
Keep an eye πŸ‘ on their Instagram account, a little birdie told me they will be holding a Mothers' Day giveaway on 31 March 2016.

A tad on the salty side and service could do with some improvements, but overall still satisfying.

Seared salmon, crab meat πŸ¦€, avocado, cucumber, jicama and red roe. I had to Google what 'jicama' is. It's a Mexican turnip/ yam bean.

We ordered a variety of dishes, however we didn't find the fusion dishes impressive. Rather, it was the Sambal Kangkong 🌢 ($8) and Moonlight Horfun ($6, featured here) that were delicious. Both came with a heavy "wok-hei" flavour.
The Deshelled Salted Egg Prawns🍀 ($15) had a yummy and gritty salted egg sauce, but similar to Chef Wayne's Nonya Inspired Halibut ($18), the fried seafood became gelat after awhile.

This outlet at Owen Road is the second outlet in Singapore and they are opening another outlet at Sin Ming Road soon. They also have an outlet in Jakarta with plans to open in Cambodia and Vietnam. The charcoal fish head 🐟 steamboat is indeed a delight and very delicious!

It's a porridge buffet ($14.80), with quite a variety of sides to go with the porridge. There's also a fried rice and noodle option in case you want something different. I could do without the karaoke-like singing from the bar next door though.

Just one more picture from dinner with my mum's side before I fly off! At my mum's current favourite restaurant, Moi Lum, for some traditional Cantonese cuisine. The total came up to $678.90! Nice number πŸ˜‚

We had the Sliced Fish Congee ($7.50), Tossed Noodles with Beef Brisket ($9) and Tossed Noodles with Prawns & Dried Shrimp Roe ($16.20). I loved the smoothness of the porridge and the springy texture of the noodles. I think the noodles would have tasted even better in the soup version. The prawn one was a bit overpriced. Keeping it short and simple πŸ˜†.
