Overseas To Try!
Must try this cheesebeehoon with king prawns.
Tonight, we put all diet (😏) plans aside to check out authentic Malaysian bak kut teh—the non peppery kind that Singapore rarely offers. Robust flavors of pork ribs (evident from hours of boiling) subtly layered with Chinese herbs made it difficult for us to stop slurping up every last drop. Sip on a glass of Chinese tea to cleanse the palate—trust us, you'll need it.
It's where the magic happens. Tonight, we're indulging in Ah Ping's dry bak kut teh. We're talking concentrated flavors of authentic Malaysian bak kut teh. Incredibly sweet, these fall-off-the-bone tender pork ribs exude a hint of charred smokiness juxtaposed against a savory saltiness from its natural jus. Absolutely amazing! 😋
Thick chewy noodles fried in egg and garnished with cucumber, pineapple, onions and lime. Oh-so-sinfully good.
Crunchy and moist while retaining sweet juicy flavors, with a kick of chili that spruces up the dish.

In Bangkok for a very short business trip. Despite the packed schedules and rushed agenda (and heavy downpour!), there's always time for some cafe hunt too! Thai Tea Crepe Cake + Matcha Latte = HEAVEN! ❤️
You'll have to be looking for this to find it, somewhat hidden from the main roads, and quite a walk (approx. 15 mins.) from the Thong Lo BTS station. Pretty place, lovely crepe cakes.
This is a famous stretch in Sindang-dong where there are at least 10 eateries all selling the same thing: spicy rice cake hotpots.
It's almost time to go home, and I can't help but reminisce on all the good food I've had here in Seoul, including the yummy kimbap I had on day 1.
