You should probably found some pastry shops like this around Macao when you walk around. And this shop particularly more hidden consider its location, but tourists still able to find their way here.

They have been baking their almond biscuits for many years and continue to attract many tourists to buy back.

Forget to take the photo of their almond biscuits as I gifted to someone. I gotten myself their Chicken Flavoured Snack 鸡仔饼 and Egg Roll 蛋卷 to enjoy.

Initially wanted to grab my lunch at a very popular food place but the queue and waiting time is just too long. So decided to try this shop that is near to Lai Kei Ice Cream shop.

Wong Kun Sio Kung 皇冠小馆 also well known as well, recommended by Michelin Guide previously.

Went for their signature shrimp roe stir noodles, which I find it not so suit to our local taste. The handmade noodles is a bit dry for their version, topped with lots of shrimp roe. Stirred with pork brewed broth and chili paste.

The traditional bamboo noodles are made with pressing technique, melded with duck eggs to create the crispy texture.

Coming to Macao of course you must try their famous Portuguese egg tart before leaving!

One of the famous shop would be this Margaret's Café e Nata, with people queueing patiently to grab theirs.

One of Macau's oldest ice cream parlours, Lai Kei has been producing ice cream since 1933.

Come here for the nostalgic interior and enjoy some of their ice cream. Although the price could be very high, but at least one experience would be good enough.

My trip to Hong Kong this time managed to squeeze out a day to take the boat ride to Macao.

Taking the first boat out from Central with TurboJet, I reached Macao early morning to grab my breakfast from this local porridge shop called the 盛記白粥.

They have a few outlets and I went to their main outlet. Very local type of shop serving decent porridge, fried items and other breakfast foods.

Come here and experience how the locals get their breakfast.

That’s all for now. Follow my Threads for latest food reviews.
