The latest charcoal claypot outlet, opened by the team behind the popular Woodlands Claypot Prawn, specializing in crab. The outlet is located in Mapletree Ubi Industrial Estate, a short walk from the MRT station.

Claypot Crab Broth (S$32.80)
A 500g crab, chopped up and cooked in a rich and milky broth. Served in a claypot over charcoal stove. Accompanied with a serving of cabbage. Addon a generous dash of Hua Diao Wine to peak up the broth.

You could request for unlimited refillable broth as it’s FREE! They provide complimentary disposable gloves, so that one will not dirty one’s fingers to handle the crab. Although it’s a non aircon coffee shop, there’s fans to keep the place cooling.

Rice noodles topped with sliced pork, sliced pig liver, meatballs, kangkong, crispy minced garlic in rich broth.

Ordered Tom Yum soup base but it tasted like tomato soup. No spicy or sour note. Packed with sliced pork, enoki mushroom, cabbage, and a wedge of tomato. Help yourself to 3 sauces : Thai Mookata Sauce, Seafood Sauce, Suki Sauce.

Huge serving although the meat was slightly on the dry side. I couldn’t finish it. The last time I had this was when the stall was still at Science Park 1 at 2020. It used to cost S$7.50 then. Lady boss still can remember us and told us that raw ingredients has increased a lot since then. This outlet does not have mashed potato which is currently only available in recently opened science park outlet.
