Northern Delights
Finally, the deliriously decadent 𝗠𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗮𝘃𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲, served with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream, was the ideal finale to our dinner.
A sensational meal and we’d be back for sure!
For those with a sweet tooth, the milkshakes are a must. Both the Rainbow Paradise Mini Milkshake and Salted Caramel Mini Milkshake were an indulgent treat.
I remembered the Stuffed Chicken Wings to be much better. The chicken meat wasn’t as firm and juicy as before.
The Chicken Basil Pasta, an ideal fusion of east and west, was very tasty.
The Cajun Lamb Rack was sufficiently tender and the gamey smell wasn’t too strong.
The 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗻, boasting juicy meat and a sweet, crispy skin was insanely addictive.
The crunchy and fiery 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝗦𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶 tasted divine.
The seductively sour-spicy 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗬𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗽 was simply amazing.
It’s a testament to Citrus By The Pool’s popularity that they are still as packed as when they first opened in 2013. Being halal-certified and open till 5 am daily no doubt helps.
The 𝗧𝗼𝗺 𝗬𝘂𝗺 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮, a perennial favourite which showcased al dente pasta with lots of seafood, was exceptional.
The two cocktails, 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 ($15) and 𝗠𝗼𝗷𝗶𝘁𝗼 ($15) were not only sweet and refreshing, they complemented the food excellently too.
We truly enjoyed the stupendous spread!
We also loved the decadently delicious 𝗢𝗿𝗲𝗼 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗲 𝗖𝗮𝗸𝗲 ($7.50).
The creamy and savoury 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗱’𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗲 ($15) and the irresistibly crispy 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗳𝗳𝗹𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝘁𝘀 ($8) were both delightful.
