Priced at $41 after service charge and GST, the set above came with rice don, soup and drink. The Chawanmushi and Sashimi were added as ala carte orders. The pork slices were cooked to perfection, fresh sashimi and the Chawanmushi was not too salty! Very nice place for gatherings if budget can be stretched
This is like a more economical soondubu/ sundubu option out there in town! Easily half the price as compared to the famous brands out there. You can choose the base and the spice level and there is no rice wastage as the rice is served in a normal bowl instead of the stone bowl.
Nestled within Innovation 4.0 in NUS, this space operates on self ordering and pick up with very limited dine-in seats. The signature poké bowl pictured set me back by 10.90 as I ordered an additional serving of mushrooms. The ingredients include avocados, sous vide egg, salmon, cucumber, mushrooms and rice. The ingredients were very fresh but the kitchen will have to move quickly to accommodate the usual lunch crowd
Quaint little space at Beauty World! This rice bowl set me back by $13 which was alright considering the generous amount of salmon! I have tried many rice bowls and this one ranks as one of the top of my list!
Found this hole in the wall Japanese place in Everton. Food came fast shortly after I paid at the cashier. Pictured here is the Aburi Salmon Don ($13.80), was pleasantly surprised to see sashimi added on as a garnish rose. The salmon slices were ok (not the most fantastic) but I would give this place a second try for the other options! The Chawanmushi ($2.80) was good!
Prepared upon order, comes with a generous portion of seafood (cuttlefish, prawns, mussels, scallops etc) and it’s good for 2 small eaters. Very fragrant and flavourful. Consider ordering this and a side to complete the meal.
