Every dish of the $228++ omakase course was good, but none was outstanding. Definitely one level below comparable nearby places like Jinhonten. May not survive in this expensive location.

We had the six-course omakase. It was certainly the worst meal we’ve had any Nobu’s we’ve visited over the years (2 in NY, 2 in London, 2 in the LA area). The black cod doesn’t melt in the mouth, the wagyu a bit chewy, and the sushi non-descript. Over 80% of customers were expats; Singaporean foodies know better! I’d rather pay a big more and eat at a top-end sushi joint!
