So thrilled to be invited and sample Hey! Yakiniku's newly launched set - the Marumi Pork (They are the first ones to serve this award winning pork from Miyazaki, Japan) along with the other scrumptious sets they currently offer ~

Just a lil' background on the Marumi Pork - Marumi pigs raised in Kawanami-cho, Miyazaki is prized for its "odorless sweet fat". They do not raise animals to be “delicious”, but strive every day for them to be “healthy”. To promote their intestinal activities, farmers use microbially-activated well water and own yeast-blended feed. We tried the following:
》Marumi Pork Set (new) | Consists of pork belly and collar, the meat to fat ratio is superb. They were delicate/tender and flavourful too.

》Australian Wagyu MB 4/5 | The marbling on this wagyu is impeccable and simply melted in our mouths, certainly one of my faves.

》Hey! Set | Includes Karubi, Harami and Gyu Tan, a great selection of meat which is a must-try and such great value for money. Every set comes with rice, soup and kimchi/salad/spicy beansprout.

》Goma Wasabi Karubi Set | Beef short plate with a special wasabi dipping sauce on the side which is quite unique and delightful.

》Black Pepper Donburi (new) | Generous amount of well-seasoned black pepper beef which had a smoky and aromatic flavour to it atop a bowl of rice and beansprouts.

Me and my partner thoroughly enjoyed the  smokeless/odourless grilling experience and meaty feast!
