super crispy and easy to snack on!
generous load of fries but wished there was more mentaiko to go around!
the double-up versions were filled with good servings of meats plus that oh, so dreamy onsen egg and a spoonful of tempura crunch for that added texture. the salmon was a little tough for our liking but nonetheless a decent bowl.
p.s. we had it at the jurong outlet but i couldn’t find the location on google.
a hearty bowl, their cha shu was our favourite - flavourful, tender with the perfect fat-to-meat ratio. a must order if you love meats!

perfect for pairing with alcohol for a chill session! we had tsukune, momo, tebasa & buta shisomaki)
featuring slow-simmered iberico pork belly served with soft boiled egg. it was fragrant, silky, with melt-in-your-mouth textures. there hasn’t been many pork dishes that impressed me, but this made the list.
unassuming yet packs a punch. kudos to the chef for a perfect batter-to-seaweed ratio. then fried to crisp, this would be the snack i’ll be munching on over a chill session.
firstly, impeccable presentation. relish your first bite of a medley of minced raw tuna, wasabi mayo, seaweed, white & green negi served on a freshly baked garlic toast. creamy, robust and a pleasure to the tastebuds. a must-order the next time i’m back. if this was made in canapé form in an event, you’ll not see me leave the tray.
honestly, this might have been the dish that started my hunt for more salmon bowls. an unforgettable dish - refreshing, tingly and slurpy goodness. also, the flatter udon used managed to pick up a good sauce-to-noodles ratio that paired perfectly with fresh, thick cubes of salmon. the sauce too, was slurp worthy - imagine a whiff of fragrant sesame with that savoury soy sauce mix and a trickle of heat from the chilli padi. if i was simon, i’d give this dish 4 big yesses.
literally what the title says, it was really crispy. adequately coated with a golden batter, it was the perfect balance of crisp to tender chicken ratio. i enjoyed it the most with a dip of that creamy mayonnaise! will reorder this or get the karaage that i’ve seen people ordering.
the best part of oden - hot piping soup, where you’ll taste hints of sweetness from the dashi stock, and that savoury note once you let it linger a little longer in the mouth. i’d get a refill if i could. out of all the ingredients (all tasted good by the way), my favourite was definitely the daikon. such a simple ingredient, yet made so well. it was the just right softness, not too mushy yet not too hard. the best part of it all, was that in a single bite of the daikon, you’ll get the soup too as it has absorbed all of the dashi stock.
the mentai was seriously satisfying, paired with that sweet and soft tamago. but same with the rice bowls, there’s no pull to come back for it. nonetheless it’s a great side dish.
