So so
Would skip this, it was soft, could’ve been more roasted.
Ordered xiao la, but still super super spicy.
Pretty decent hotpot, but nothing really stood out.
The interior was quite nice, best to reserve a window seat! One of the few places to get parking in Orchard, so quite convenient if you’re planning to drive.
The teochew ones were better, these were alright, pretty decent mooncakes, couldn’t really taste the liqueur, but still a good mooncake.
It was ok, not amazing briyani, but decent. Portions were ok!
Comes with wanton noodle, carrot cake and milk tea.
The wanton was good, had a good amount of filling and you can really taste prawn.
Noodles and soup was so so, decent.
Carrot cake was meh, milk tea was decent.
If you’re looking for a quick lunch fix, this will do.
This was truly spicy, and the chicken itself was not flavourful. Wouldn’t recommend getting their chicken, maybe their pork (tangsuyuk) might’ve been better (as that’s their speciality).
The taste was decent, lots of onions so the sauce was good, but I would’ve preferred more Q/springy noodles. (There are better places to get a jjajjang fix in sg)
Maybe get their order stuff like crispy rice in claypot, that looked interesting and unique.
Used to be comfort food where my parents brought me to every weekend. But it’s very underwhelming now, if you’ve been spoilt with all the ice cream cafes out there these days you won’t enjoy this as much anymore.
If you are here tho, get the special dessers, like the nutty ones, or the apple crumble!
Small bowl, great if you want to order some sides with it.
Could’ve been a bit more flavourful in my opinion, just a very simple affair if you’re looking something with no frills
Again, anything matcha here is G.
But overall I would say the food here is very simple but super pricey. Maybe getting the hi-tea set or just some crepes and desserts would be more worth it than the mains.
Was a bit disappointing cause I expected more from this collab between white grass and hvala.
Light and simple dish.
But not sure if it was worth the price point.
Pretty alright, ebi was thick and crispy.
I’m not a fan of the sauce tho, was a bit sweet for me, would’ve preferred something more savory.
