Kung Fu style fried rice with generous amount of prawn meat
RM12
Not spicy, but very tasty.
RM25
It's alright, but the salted fish really shines when combined with the lightly flavoured bean sprouts
Rm12
Absolutely solid, a must have to every meal here.
RM15 (6 piece)
A plate of crabs for Rm50? Pretty damn affordable
Rather affordable shell out, usually for 5 pax you'd expect to pay around RM400 plus.. over here it's just rm300
Really nice and affordable plate of BBQ squid and rice (RM12)
RM31.50 before tax and like most fish and chips in Johor, the fish is bland, lacks salt and breaks apart all too easily (most likely frozen and overcooked). The only saving grace is that the batter was good and crispy. Chips were good, and the accompanying salad was really nice, they really need to fix that fish.
They also has this new electric lemonade (RM14.90), which is a blue lemonade soda with pineapple bits, very refreshing.
Staff was kind and friendly (maybe because they just recently opened), manager came over to ask how was my meal, I couldn't bring myself to complain about the fish, so I just said it was alright.
The wine was great, but sadly the fish and chips was the most blandest thing I've ever tasted.
What's worst is that the batter was soggy. Picture this, bland fish encased in batter, deep fried and somehow soggy?
This place used to be good, I have no idea what happened to it now.
If you're used to going to shilin, maybe try out squid boy, it's a more sweeter but still savoury deep fried squid.
Overall it's a great treat
The lobster was dry, and prepared in the most horrendous of ways. This frozen lobster is first boiled, and later kept on ice again. Once someone orders the lobster they'll heat it up on a teppanyaki style grill. Obviously you'll be left with a dry lobster that's slightly rubbery.
Not worth the RM98 you need to pay for this lobster and nasi lemak.
