First time having this, the duck was well seasoned and really tender! However, the “Barley Risotto” was underwhelming and I’m not a fan of the endives. The duck gets a bit cloying at the end (and I didn’t want to cleanse with more endives) but still good, definitely carried the dish 🙂

The Udon texture is just right while the broth is filled with umami and doesn’t get cloying (jelat). I could taste/smell the black garlic (probably just black garlic oil), it lingers for the first few bites.
