Part of the Premium Omakase Set at Standing Sushi Bar, the 3 kinds of Sashimi was a strong start.

The trio of sashimi is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate. Each piece is a masterpiece of freshness and texture, meticulously arranged to showcase its natural beauty. No fishy aftertaste, just clean, rich flavour in every bite.

It's absolute madness on every Monday and Thursday at SSB for their popular and best value-for-money salmon madness promotion going at $3.90 for 5 slices of salmon sashimi.

I ordered 5 portions at one go and it was all served together on a plate. The salmon was really fresh, chunky and thick even though it was on promotion. Besides salmon sashimi, some of their alcoholic drinks are on promotion too. It's best to go early to avoid standing in the queue.

The salmon tartare is light and refreshing with ikura, fried nori, pickled wakame, guacamole and apple vinaigrette. A lovely and perfect appetiser with delicate flavours to start off the meal (U.P. $18)
