Cubes of carrot cake fried with garlic, chye poh (preserved radish) and a generous amount of eggs before coating it with sweet black sauce and a nice char. It has a good balance of sweetness and moisture. The chye poh also adds a nice fragrance and crunchy bite to this dish 》$3

Cubes of white carrot cake held together by beaten eggs and fried till crisp brown on the outside with a thin layer of chilli on it. It has a nice balance of flavours and definitely a steal for just $2.

The carrot cake is wok-fried with eggs, garlic, chye poh, fish sauce and other seasonings, topped with a mountain of chye poh at the side. The carrot cake is fried beforehand then double-fried upon order for a crispy and eggy texture on the outside, soft on the inside with some wok-hei. The chye poh were surprisingly not as salty with some sweetness and crunch that balance well with the lightly seasoned carrot cake that is not too greasy or overpowering. They also serve up a pretty generous portion which is good enough to share and value for money. Good things must wait so be prepared to queue for it. I waited 30mins on an early weekend morning 》$4.50 / Large

The black version is sweet and nicely caramelised with wok hei while the white version is more savoury. I preferred the black version as the white version is done in loose chunks unlike some places where they were packed like a pancake with crispy edges 》$3

These chunky blocks of radish cubes are cooked with a generous amount of chai poh that gives some sweetness that complements the savouriness. It is well charred to a crispy exterior with chilli that was smeared while the interior is firm and soft with flavours coming from the egg, chye poh and garlic. This has got to be one of the better white carrot cake I have tasted and not to mention how it was priced reasonably cheap 》$3

Soft and firm carrot cake tossed with eggs and sweet dark sauce. We ordered the $3 portion to share and they are quite generous with their serving. The taste of dark sweet sauce uplifts the dish but may not favour those who don't like their carrot cake to be sweet. It may be a little too greasy for one person to have it all 》$3 + $0.50 Egg

Just imagine mixing curry powder and prawns with carrot cake. The carrot cake here is prepared with curry powder, giving it a very unique taste. I like that their carrot cake is fragrant, soft, firm and not oily. Be prepared to queue for it on a weekend morning. It is also one of the cheaper / value for money carrot cake stalls in SG 》$3

We waited 45mins for our carrot cake. We were happy that there isn’t any queue but little did we know that they have a ‘invisible’ queue where the owner takes order on a note book. The people here made their own carrot (radish) cake. The carrot cake are pan-fried together with chilli paste till it’s crispy on the surface (like pancake) 》$4 / Large

I'm in a relationship with food. Why can't we just declare our never ending love and vows towards some food item? I'm sure that would not result in divorces.
